CraftRoots for Good (CRfG) is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization. That means the owners will never pull money out for themselves. CRfG is committed to 100% charitable efficiency where 100% of donations ultimately end up in the hands of the programs and partners doing good. To create the biggest transformative effect, CraftRoots for Good will pick a limited amount of the right partner organizations that will allow us to make both financial and relational investments. CRfG will partner with groups that are empowering individuals or families for long-term success and not just helping them out temporarily. In order to become a partner, an organization needs to demonstrate that their work:
1- Makes a significant change for the better in the people they serve
2- Is done in ways that are sensitive and appropriate to the culture they serve
3- Does not harm other aspects of personal or community life
Any good organization will support its local community. Milford will be a key target for our giving dollars.
By partnering with a regional organization we can leverage our profits for a considerable impact.
A 7-hour commute to the nearest hospital would be unacceptable to any American. We need to help!
Partnerships will have the opportunity to give back to CRfG in the form of providing hands-on opportunities through service trips and work projects designed to foster relational connections with participants. In this way, interested customers can experience the work of the partner firsthand. These types of projects and trips can potentially be worldview-expanding experiences that bring out the best in those who participate.
While partnerships will provide the primary focus of our charitable efforts, CRfG will also support local causes seeking to do good through issuing small, non-recurring grants each year. The grants will look to support creative ways individuals and other organizations are trying to make a difference locally.
All of our charitable work will not interfere with the customer's experience. Only interested customers will be engaged with charitable info. Any Advertisement will be very low key avoiding any 'in your face' feel.
